DOMESTIC VS. INTERNATIONAL

SHIPPING COSTS

Purchase any item and we will ship it to you anywhere for free. We provide fast, free shipping and insurance to all our shipping destinations, regardless of the order amount. All items are securely packaged and fully insured while in transit to your home or office.

PROCESSING TIME

Because we make most items to order, time from order to delivery will vary depending on the item ordered. All orders are shipped via UPS and are scheduled to arrive on or before the expected delivery date shown on the order confirmation. Some orders may arrive earlier than the expected delivery date if they are ready. We only ship your order once it has passed through our thorough quality control. Loose diamonds are shipped immediately after passing inspection. You will receive an email confirmation once your order ships.

SHIPPING METHODS

US orders greater than $500 in value are shipped via UPS-Next Day Air. International orders over $500 in value are shipped via FedEx International Priority. US orders under $500 in value are shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air. International orders under $500 in value are shipped via FedEx Economy or USPS. Order status and tracking information are available from the MAKAR.com website by clicking here (link to “track your package”).

FOR YOUR PROTECTION, MAKAR ALWAYS:

• Insures and registers all items for their full value
• Uses only FedEx services for all orders in order to deliver high value packages in the fastest and safest manner
• Requires that all deliveries be made to a physical business or home address
• Disallows delivery to PO Box addresses
• Requires a signature for the package
• Allows for an alternative shipping address

We suggest that any credit card order be shipped to a valid address on file with the credit card company, although alternate addresses are acceptable. We can also arrange to have your package shipped to a local FedEx station for pick-up. You may call our offices at any time for assistance locating the nearest FedEx facility.

• Go to the homepage and click on your name
• Click on “Order History”
• Click on the order number for the order you would like to track
• Click on the tracking link that appears below each item

We stand behind every item we sell and want you to be truly delighted with your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in its original, unworn condition within 30 days, for a full refund or exchange – no questions asked./p>

MAKAR is proud to offer free return shipping on all ring, loose diamond, and loose gemstone orders. We will provide the free FedEx return shipping label, so that your return process is seamless and easy. Free return shipping only applies to U.S and Canada customers and is limited to three per customer. To return an item, simply follow these return procedures:

• Contact our Customer Service department at 732.356.8080
• Advise the representative that you wish to return your order.
• Within one business day of your phone call we will email you a shipping authorization code, pre-paid, fully insured UPS 2nd Day Air label, along with instructions on how to safely and securely package your items.
• Take your order and the label to the nearest UPS location and simply mail it back to us with the shipping authorization number on outside of the box. If you need packaging materials, UPS will assist you.
• Your order should arrive in our office within two business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
• All refunds will be processed within two weeks, in the form of the original purchase method. Bank wires will be refunded via company check. International bank wire purchases will be refunded in USD according to the exchange rate at time of purchase

After we receive the returned order, our Quality Assurance department will inspect and verify the condition of the item. All returned items must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation. Due to their personalized nature, the following orders are nonreturnable: items that have been modified, engraved, or resized; items that have previously been exchanged; layaway orders after 30 days from purchase; and custom designed jewelry. If a piece is returned for a refund or canceled during production, your next purchase will qualify for exchange. Alterations to orders currently in process void the complimentary resize, return and exchange policies. If you have a special request for a later delivery date, our 30 day return/exchange period begins on the date that your order was first available to ship.

MAKAR is not responsible for differences in foreign currency refund amounts due to exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and refund. MAKAR is not responsible for any foreign exchange or other fees that are charged by the customer’s financial institution. For all credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear.

Packages without a return shipping authorization number or packages that were refused delivery will not be accepted for refund and are subject to a minimum restocking charge of $50. Return shipping authorizations are active for seven days from the date of issue and packages must be shipped during the active time period of your return shipping authorization. If your return shipping authorization has expired, please contact us at 732.856.8080 to request another return shipping authorization. Any returns showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return. Improperly packaged or uninsured items will be refused receipt. Packages shipped beyond the 30-day return period, or packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will not be accepted.

Within 90 days of when your purchase is available for shipment or pickup and only for US and Canada customers, we also offer one complimentary resizing for our standard ring styles with free shipping both ways. Please note our eternity rings cannot be resized due to their design. Custom, modified, and engraved rings are subject to resize fees. Outside of the 90 day complimentary resize period, rings can be resized for a fee when within jeweler’s recommended sizing range. If you resize your ring at the time of your purchase, any subsequent resizes will be subject to fees. For orders shipped outside US and Canada we do not offer free ring resizing or free returns due to potential taxes being levied.

During the resizing process, small amounts of metal will be added or removed to increase or decrease the size to adjust for the new size needed. As a result, your ring may be slightly thicker or thinner when completed. This is a minor difference, and may or may not be discernible to you. Your resized ring will be inspected for quality assurance to ensure that our high standards are met, and that your ring has been fitted to the size that you need.

*Some rings cannot be resized. This may be due to a size restriction, falling outside of the recommended range, or due to the design style. During our 30-day return policy you will not be charged if your ring needs to be remanufactured. Outside our 30-day return policy and during our 90 day Free Resizing policy, a fee will apply if your ring must be remanufactured. It is important to know that your new ring may not look ‘exactly’ like the original, as minor variations can occur. Upon receipt and inspection of your ring you will be notified prior to any work being done to discuss the charge to replace your ring.

Why not engrave a meaningful message on the inside of your engagement ring or wedding ring? We offer free engraving on most of our engagement rings and wedding bands. If engraving is available for your selection, it will be presented as an option during checkout. If MAKAR engraves the purchased ring during the manufacturing process this will not void any return policy.

What Can I Engrave?

Personal ring engravings can be any alphanumeric combination up to 20 characters in length. Looking for inspiration? Consider engraving your engagement ring or wedding band with your anniversary date, an expression of your love, your initials, or a phrase with special meaning that only you two understand!

We are committed to ensuring the quality of your purchase; we stand behind everything that we sell and warrant that all items will be free from any manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. All of our jewelry is manufactured using the highest quality materials and is inspected prior to shipment.

In the event that there is ever a problem with your jewelry or you are in need of other services that are not covered under our lifetime warranty, your jewelry can be mailed back to our office for evaluation*. Once inspected, should charges apply, you will be notified prior to any work being done to service your jewelry.

To send us your ring, U.S. customers may purchase a fully insured shipping label for $40. International customers will be subject to return shipping cost applicable to their order. We will ship your item back to you free of charge.

Every piece of MAKAR jewelry is packaged with special care. All jewelry purchased will arrive in a MAKAR jewelry box, embossed with our signature logo.
